Space Calculator for Banquet & Meeting Rooms

This calculator will calculate the capacity of a banquet hall, wedding hall, or meeting room in many setup scenarios. It will also calculate space needed for a specific amount of people. You can also find out how many trade show booths will fit in a space, or how much space is needed. One thing to note, the calculator will not take into account odd shaped rooms. Also, remember to subtract the square footage of dance floors etc.

How does it work?

Calculating By Amount Of People

If your meeting requires a certain amount of people. Input the amount of people into the box labeled "How many people do you have?" and click "calculate. You will receive results for every banquet setup style to the left.

Input "numerals" only, no commas etc.

Calculating By Your Meeting Space Square Footage

If you know the square footage of your event room, and would like to calculate the room's capacity. Fill in the input box "How many square feet do you have?" and click "calculate". If you do not know the square footage of your room, this can be calculated by multiplying the width x length of the room (in feet).

To Calculate How Many Chairs Fit in A Room

This calculator also can be used for seating capacity. If you need to know how many chairs fit in your room, use the "theater style" result line.
